What is MP3? Well MP3 is a MPEG-1 Audio Layer-3. In plain English MP3 is a near CD quality sound file that is compressed in a scheme that is used to transfer sound files via the internet, used in portable players as well as digital audio servers.
Its basically a music file or sound file that has been compressed to make it small and easier to deal with.
